Herman Willems joined JSI in 2004 after more than 15 years in the clinical field and emergency relief programs in low-income countries. He supports HIV and reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health programs with quality improvement, monitoring, and evaluation. Herman has lived and worked in various countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America and has an MD and an MSc in public health.
