Participatory community dialogue for mitigating conflict through improving local governance of health care provision in Yemen

This presentation was developed to show the lessons learned from implementing the Community Dialogue Approach to identify local conflicts and design solutions to strengthen the health system and reduce conflict in Yemen. This was conducted by the USAID-funded Systems, Health, and Resiliency Project (SHARP) and they found that facilitating community dialogue, providing resources and training, and establishing a Conflict Resolution Committee composed of community members improved health service availability and reduced conflict. This presentation is for SHARP funders and any who wish to review the implementation and findings of SHARP interventions in Yemen.
