Dyness Kasungami has 19 years experience in program design, management, and collaborating with a broad network of stakeholders. Over the past 10 years, she has focused on introducing and scaling up the integrated community case management task force, including generating evidence to support policy choices through research, advocacy, and resource mobilization. Prior to joining JSI, Dyness managed several health programs for DFID and USAID. As a senior health specialist at USAID and DFID in Zambia, she represented donors to the government and helped implement the sector-wide approaches. Dyness has an MPH from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, a higher diploma in district health systems management from the Royal Tropical Institute in the Netherlands, and an MD in medicine and surgery.
