The Massachusetts Smokers' Helpline, managed by JSI, was funded in part by the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) through a contract with the Boston Public Health Commission. The project supported customized QuitWorks services to Boston patients referred by their health care providers from seven community health centers and the Boston Medical Center. JSI was responsible for direct service delivery to clients and for assisting the BPHC with program design and client evaluation.
