JSI Appointed to the Board of Network of Persons Living with HIV

The Ghana Network of Persons living with HIV (NAP+ Ghana) has unveiled an advisory board to deepen its ongoing efforts to use advocacy to improve the lives of all persons living with HIV in the country. JSI, as implementers of the USAID Strengthening the Care Continuum Project, has been appointed to serve on this advisory board.

NAP+ Ghana’s mission is to improve the quality of life of persons living with HIV and AIDS and protect Ghana from further infection through advocacy, information sharing, visible leadership, capacity strengthening, and strategic action.

One of the key responsibilities of the NAP+ board is to support NAP+ in conducting high-level advocacy and increase its involvement in the decision-making process around HIV policy and strategies, Ghana’s response to achieving epidemic control, and resource mobilization and allocation.

The other member institutions of the advisory board include the Ministry for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Participatory Development Associates Limited, Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice, and UNAIDS.
