Mira Levinson has been supporting federal, state, and local HIV and infectious disease programs for more than 25 years. She has overseen five national Health Resources and Services Administration HIV/AIDS Bureau cooperative agreements, including the Access, Care and Engagement Technical Assistance Center. She has also led multi-year monitoring and evaluation activities for at least 15 state and local programs, with a focus on HIV service delivery systems and substance use treatment and HIV prevention. Mira has directed the Infectious Disease Capacity Building: Policy Development, Evaluation, and Quality Improvement project for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health since 2015. Mira was also the subcontract lead on a study of the impact of the ACA on health outcomes for people living with HIV, and was a senior evaluator on the HRSA-funded study of the impact of Section 1115 Medicaid waivers on the RWHAP. Mira has an MPH from Columbia University School of Public Health.
