Jennifer Kawatu has focused on data-driven quality improvement at JSI for more than 15 years. Jennifer was the clinical consultant for JSI’s Title X-funded family planning training projects and currently, the Family Planning National Training Center. In this role, she has developed training and educational resources related to contraceptive care, clinic efficiency, patient satisfaction, and quality improvement. Jennifer has led more than 10 learning collaboratives, supporting more than 90 organizations nationwide to increase performance and improve the quality of reproductive health services. As director of the STD-related Reproductive Health Training and Technical Assistance Center, she led the development of an online billing and reimbursement toolkit for the CDC’s Division of STD Prevention. Jennifer is a registered nurse with a BSN in nursing and an MPH from Boston University.
