Suaad Shaker Al-Hetari is a pediatrician with more than 25 years of experience in clinical and public health practice in Yemen, and 15 years in integrated maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH) and nutrition. She is a master trainer on best health practices in implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and scale-up of MNCH interventions. Suaad has worked extensively in conflict zones and coordinated field teams to implement health programs. She was the newborn and child health officer for JSI’s Maternal and Child Health Integrated Program, and acted as chief of party to support its untimely closing due to the civil war.
