For the past 15 years, Katelyn Flaherty Doré has worked to improve the health of children, adolescents, and families. Since joining JSI in 2011, she has worked on a wide variety of projects that address child health and development, sexual and reproductive health, and HIV. She has a particular interest in workforce development and transferring knowledge to improve services and strengthen systems. Her experience includes designing training and technical assistance content for traditional materials, websites, eLearning, webinars, and social media; facilitating peer learning groups; conducting formative research and program evaluations; supporting quality improvement projects; and coordinating community-wide prevention efforts. She attended Boston University School of Public Health concentrating in maternal and child health and is a certified lactation counselor with the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice.
