Barbara Durr is a public health professional who has more 25 years of management experience. Barbara was JSI’s regional advisor in Kenya; project director of the New Partners Initiative Technical Assistance program in Uganda and Kenya; deputy chief of party for the Uganda Program for Human and Holistic Development; and Peace Corp country director in Morocco. Barbara has worked in Eswatini, Mali, Namibia, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe and was a Peace Corps volunteer in Gabon. Barbara also served as director of country programs for PEPFAR’s AIDSFree project and as senior advisor for RRHO/Congo. She has MAs in city and regional planning and public policy.
