IMMUNIZATION basics Final Report
The IMMUNIZATIONbasics project helped strengthen the systems to deliver vaccines and immunizations in ten countries. The project helped strengthen and enhance the quality of routine immunization services; improve the financial sustainability of these services, including helping countries address financial challenges arising from the introduction of new vaccines and safe injection technologies. It also worked to sustain measles mortality reduction through capacity building and strengthening the routine immunization system, and introduced new vaccines in a sustainable and effective manner.
This final report highlights the work of the project, its results and lessons learned. It features specific examples of in-country activities in Nigeria, India, Madagascar, Timor-Leste, and Rwanda. IMMUNIZATIONbasics/JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. 2010.
