The Scaling Up Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCH+A) Interventions project, also known as “Vriddhi,” supports the scale-up of high impact RMNCH+A interventions through innovative programming and by working closely with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the National Health Mission, and state governments. In consensus with IPEG and USAID, JSI focused its efforts on three program components: demonstration models for Kangaroo Mother Care, demonstration models for community management of neonatal sepsis and home-based newborn care, and strengthening private sector engagement to improve RMNCH+A services.
This document details the implementation process and key results for each JSI program component, as well as recommendations to improve future programming.
