A License for Quality – Creating the Sindh Health Care Commission

In 2015, the government of Sindh asked JSI, through the HSS Component, to help establish a Sindh Health Care Commission (SHCC) by strengthening staff capacity and technical skills to design and implement an effective regulatory framework. The HSS Component helped the government of Sindh accomplish the following:
1) Codified SHCC Governance Structure
2) Formed SHCC Rules and Regulations
3) Developed SHCC Business Plan
4) Prepared Annual Budget Estimates
5) Recruited Executive SHCC Staff
6) Developed Sindh Service Delivery Standards
