New York State Family Planning Training Center

In collaboration with the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), the New York State Family Planning Training Center supports Family Planning Program providers to deliver quality reproductive health services. In support of this goal, the Training Center delivers free training and technical assistance (TTA) to New York State Family Planning Program providers, including:

• Virtual and in-person trainings and events, such as webinars, workshops, and peer-to-peer discussions
• Family Planning Program eLearning Orientation for new and existing staff 
• Annual Provider Meeting to foster peer-to-peer networking and skills-building
• Monthly newsletter for providers about upcoming events and new resources for family planning staff
• Intensive improvement initiatives based on a collaborative, peer learning model
• Individual TA for providers to address their unique challenges related to program implementation
• A website (nysfptraining.org) that serves as the one-stop-shop knowledgebase for training and resources
