In order to meet existing Commonwealth of Massachusetts and new federal regulation, Lahey Health must complete a comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) every three years. Lahey Health includes Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, Beverly Hospital, Addison Gilbert Hospital, and Winchester Hospital, each of which will develop a Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) that outlines how the medical center plans to address the priority health needs identified in the CHNA. Through surveys, focus groups, and key informant interview, JSI will draw on quantitative and qualitative data and involve members of the community at-large to conduct the CHNA and develop BIDMC's CHNA Report and its CHIP.
