Willy Kabyua Mutshipay
(Died 2013)
Dr. Willy Kabyua Mutshipay devoted his life to working to improve the health and lives of people. Willy joined JSI in February 2009 as a malaria logistics advisor for USAID | DELIVER PROJECT. He moved from his native country, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to Lilongwe, Malawi, where he worked for more than 25 years to strengthen pharmaceutical systems and support malaria and vaccine management programs in Liberia, Rwanda, and especially the DRC.
Although Willy struggled with some health issues the last few years, it didn’t affect his positivity and how he related to people. Willy was a joy to be around and was loved by all; especially his wife and four children, who survive him.
