JSI is pleased to announce the start of the Injectables Access Collaborative (AC), which will build on the successes of its previous phase, the DMPA-SC Access Collaborative.

This AC will advance the introduction and scale-up of DMPA-SC, including self-injection, to expand access and choice to a range of high-quality contraceptive options for women and girls. This project is led by PATH in collaboration with CHAI, inSupply, Jhpiego, and JSI.

Since its inception in 2017, this multi-phase project has proven to be a groundbreaking initiative, enabling broader access and choice and exciting advances in service delivery, including self-care. JSI is delighted for the continued partnership in this initiative.” – Adewole Adefalu, JSI project lead

During this phase, JSI will support ministries of health and key stakeholders to lead the introduction and scale-up of DMPA-SC in Kenya, Madagascar, and Nigeria. With expertise and support from inSupply Health, JSI will also lead the global coordination of supply chain activities.

This project builds on JSI’s 45 years of family planning, new product introduction, and supply chain expertise.
