Chief of Party, USAID Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition Activity, Laos
Brian Mulligan has over 20 years of experience leading, designing, and implementing integrated community reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health programs. He recently served as the deputy chief of party on the USAID Community Capacity for Health project in Madagascar and as JSI’s country representative in Myanmar. Brian was also a program officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, supporting cross-cutting global health work for Ethiopia in coordination with global development and country programs teams. Before that, he was a principal investigator on the Community-based Interventions for Newborns in Ethiopia research trial under Saving Newborn Lives. Brian has an MPH from the University of Washington’s School of Public Health.
