A medical worker and a USAID AN project activist, Zhumakan Kaldarova works in several villages in the south of the Kyrgyz Republic. One of them, the village of Kyzyl-Beyit, is known as cut-off- Internet there doesn’t work, and there are only two roads to it, each being dangerous and taking a long time. Despite this, our heroine gets to the village several days a week to share information about breastfeeding and hygiene with the residents.
