Community health centers provide critical access and care to high-need, medically complex, and often isolated populations. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, hard-working staff have provided creative solutions to continue services in their communities, which are often disproportionately affected by this virus.

At the Community Health Institute and Expo, August 28–30, JSI staff will be at Booth #1011 to discuss how we support health centers through national and state health care reform and strategically position them for success.

During the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) annual gathering, JSI projects that will be highlighted include:

The HRSA Health Center Workforce Well-being Survey (booth #1108)

Through the Health Center Workforce Well-being Survey, we aim to support HRSA/BPHC’s initiatives to improve staff well-being and reduce burnout, and promote workforce resilience after public health emergencies and recruitment. Health centers will have the opportunity to sign up for the survey if they have not already done so.

The NACHC Telehealth Survey (booth #1011)

The goal of our survey is to assess health center patients’ experience with telehealth in 2022. Through patient-level data, we will develop a policy brief detailing the effectiveness of telehealth services in the health center context that will be used to generate support for further efforts and investments to promote equity, maximize access, and ensure good quality of care.

Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Best Practices Compilation (booth #1011)

The Best Practices Compilation shares what works in Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program-funded settings to improve outcomes for people with HIV and support replication by others.

Health Information Technology, Evaluation and Quality Center (HITEQ)

The HITEQ Center works with other HRSA-funded partners to support health centers in full optimization of their electronic health record/health IT systems.

As health centers chart a new course in a rapidly changing environment and assume a larger role in the nation’s health care system, the conference will focus on finding new ways to deliver care more effectively and efficiently.
