JSI will support the United Nations Population Fund’s (UNFPA’s) Demographic Transition in Iraq Programme, which strengthens services and advocacy for sexual and reproductive health (SRH), family planning, and youth empowerment. In particular, JSI will lead UNFPA Iraq and the Iraq Ministry of Health (MOH) through an assessment of their SRH supply chain design. The assessment will result in key recommendations, a business case, and costed implementation plan for strengthening the SRH supply chain, with a focus on logistics management information systems, family planning, and humanitarian settings. The assessment will inform UNPFA and MOH decisions to improve programmatic outcomes including better SRH coverage, equity, service delivery, efficiency, and resilience. This work is critical to meet the SRH program’s rapidly changing needs and ensure that a range of products are available to clients wherever they are.
