Senior Consultant Elected to Board of Healthy Teen Network

Donna Elliston, DrPH, a new member of our Georgia office, has been elected to the board of the Healthy Teen Network (HTN). HTN promotes better outcomes for adolescents and young adults by advancing social change and strengthening youth-supporting professionals and organizations. Donna has been collaborating with HNT since 2010, and was even a grantee herself, working as a partner agency across different activities. “I’m impressed by HTN’s previous and current work as it transcends what it does in terms of innovation,” said Donna, “and its commitment to working with young people to produce positive outcomes.”

Donna joined JSI in January 2021 as a senior consultant for the Reproductive Health National Training Center, which provides technical assistance to teen pregnancy prevention grantees funded by the Office of Population Affairs. Donna has almost 20 years of experience in applied research, technical assistance, and program evaluation, and expertise in teen pregnancy prevention, and adolescent, maternal, and child health. Originally from New York, Donna started her own public health staffing agency to connect early careerists and mid-and senior-level professionals with top public health firms, bringing new talent to the public health field.
