Young people at forefront of contraception provision in the fragile post-conflict northern Uganda

This poster was developed to display the results of the USAID Regional Health Integration to Enhance Services-N, Lango (RHITES-N, Lango) project’s family planning training program for youth to be health workers and distribute contraceptives to peers. After about a year, this program resulted in more than a two-fold increase (22,326 to 50,886) in the number of adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) reached with contraceptives in the Lango sub-region. This poster was created for the International Conference on Family Planning 2022, and it is useful for any who want to learn more about programs implemented by youth to increase the use of family planning services among AGYW.
