The Dose Per Container Partnership (DPCP) undertook quantitative and qualitative research in Zambia between January 2017 and July 2018 to examine the effects on the immunization system of administering measles-containing vaccine (MCV) in 5-dose vials rather than the standard 10-dose vials. This document examines those effects.

The Dose Per Container Partnership (DPCP) is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), led by JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. and jointly implemented in partnership with PATH, the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), the Highly Extensible Resource for Modeling Event-Driven Supply Chains (HERMES) modeling team, and the International Vaccine Access Center (IVAC). DPCP supports better-informed decision making on doses per container (DPC). JSI. 2019.
