Small babies get life-saving hugs in Jharkhand and Uttarakhand

The Scaling Up Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCH+A) Interventions project, also known as “Vriddhi,” is a USAID-supported initiative to support the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, National Health Mission, and state governments to scale up high-impact RMNCH+A interventions in six states in Northern India.

This case study highlights Vriddhi's efforts to establish demonstration models for Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) in Jharkhand and Uttarakhand.
