Rehabilitating Peripheral Health Units to Save Lives

Clean water and sanitation, the sixth sustainable development goal indicator, is poor in Sierra Leone. The Advancing Partners & Communities project supported the completion and printing of the 2017 Ministry of Health and Sanitation Standards & Guidelines for WASH Services in Health Facilities in Sierra Leone which set the standard for future renovations nationally. The project then used the standards and guidelines in the rehabilitation of 110 peripheral health units. JSI, 2017.
