The Scaling Up Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCH+A) Interventions project, also known as “Vriddhi,” is a USAID-supported initiative to support the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, National Health Mission, and state governments to scale up high-impact RMNCH+A interventions in six states in Northern India.

This case study highlights Vriddhi's efforts to establish demonstration models and practices for Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC), a proven to technique of newborn care where babies are kept skin-to-skin with a parent or other adult. JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. 2016.
