AIDSFree Technical Assistance to Mozambique for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis Social and Behavioral Change Communication Materials Development: Final Report.

In May 2018, USAID requested technical assistance from the AIDSFree Project to support Mozambique in developing social and behavior change communication (SBCC) materials. This report describes how AIDSFree, working closely with the Mozambique Ministry of Health and the PrEP Advisory Group, developed, piloted, and disseminated posters, leaflets, counseling guides, and other materials. The materials were to help generate demand for pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). This led to the development of a core set of communication materials to support demand creation and counseling for PrEP for both piloting and expansion provinces in Mozambique.
