JSI is partnering with United Way of the Greater Seacoast to conduct a needs assessment to inform the group's preschool development community grant. The goal of the needs assessment is to identify areas of need for families in Strafford and Rockingham Counties to promote and increase access to early education opportunities and support positive outcomes.
The project team will produce town profiles using secondary data to illustrate strengthening and risk factors, collect input from local families about their needs, and engage local programs in group interviews to understand their perspective of where need exists. This research will result in recommendations to a UWGS stakeholder group seeking to better align services and create innovative approaches to meeting families where they are.
