SUMMARY

JSI is contracted with the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services to assist in the implementation of new climate health adaptation programs. JSI will provide logistical support to assist in the facilitation of workgroup meetings for the Climate and Health Advisory Council. This includes bi-monthly planning meetings and two annual half-day meetings and the development and coordination of a shared meeting site where members of the Council can access and review project-related materials. JSI will assist in the development and implementation of train-the-trainer programs centered around tick-safe practices by leveraging educational materials from the Tick-Free NH, Department of Public Health Services and CDC initiatives and utilizing best practices for adult learning. Finally, JSI will be responsible for overseeing subcontracts with Antioch University New England as they provide technical assistance to local communities to develop evidence-based public health plans and interventions centered around changing climate conditions. The culmination of this work will be the creation of a white paper by Antioch on the subject of measuring community resilience to natural disasters.
