New Website Provides Effective Training for Title X Community
January 18th, 2018 | News
JSI recently launched a redesigned website for the Family Planning National Training Center (fpntc.org) that allows users to find resources easily, enroll in web-based training, and track their training participation.
The goal of the FPNTC is to help family planning and Title X communities in the United States deliver high-quality services. The FPNTC provides training and technical assistance to a network of more than 90 Title X-funded grantees and more than 4,000 service sites.
JSI undertook a user-centered design process to ensure that the redesigned FPNTC website met the training needs of the family planning community. JSI interviewed representatives from Title X grantees, sub-recipients, and service sites. Based on this research, the new site builds on the previous web-based resource library to provide users with several added-value features:
Since the site launched in late October 2017, fpntc.org has had more than 2,500 active users and over 10,000 page views. Users have registered for more than 3,800 eLearning courses and completed more than 4,500 evaluations for eLearning courses and archived webinars. In the coming year, JSI will add advanced training tracking features to allow Title X grantees to better manage training for their networks.
