In Tanzania, JSI has trained more than 15,000 community case workers, like Julius, who have connected more than 1 million people to HIV testing and more than 800,000 vulnerable children to services, including HIV testing. We’re helping Tanzania reach 90-90-90 one community at a time.

Watch our new video to learn how community case worker Julius, trained by JSI, made a difference in one girl’s life by connecting her to critical health, social welfare, and protection services:

To reach the UNAIDS 90-90-90 goals and eradicate HIV, governments need to be able to reach their most vulnerable citizens and connect them to testing, counseling, and care. In Tanzania, JSI has worked with the government to train a volunteer cadre of case workers, who have deep ties to their communities, to identify those at risk of contracting HIV and connect them to health, social welfare, and protection services.
