New Video: Advocating for chlorhexidine scale-up in Pakistan
January 21st, 2020 | news
This is a five-minute advocacy video created by JSI’s Integrated Health Systems Strengthening and Service Delivery Project (IHSS-SD), which is funded by USAID. The video describes Pakistan’s progress in introducing the lifesaving, low-cost drug chlorhexidine (CHX) as an effective means to save newborn lives and advocates for the continued scale-up of CHX across the country.
The video is housed on the website of Pakistan’s Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination as well as the Ministry’s Knowledge Management Portal. The Ministry is working with UNICEF and JSI to present the video at various advocacy and technical working group meetings across the country to encourage CHX use and scale-up.
We strive to build lasting relationships to produce better health outcomes for all.
