Haregewein Getachew
(1980–2020)
Haregewein was the maternal and newborn health program officer on the USAID Transform: Primary Health Care project in Ethiopia. Before joining JSI in 2010, Harege worked in sexual and reproductive health in facilities ranging from rural public health clinics to hospitals, including the Hamlin Fistula Hospital. Harege leaves her husband Ashebir and three daughters.
