Adelaide Eleanor Shearley
(1949–2021)
Adelaide Shearley joined JSI in 2011 as a senior immunization technical officer on USAID’s Maternal and Child Health Integrated Program. In her recent years, Adelaide’s efforts focused on community engagement in immunization and the introduction of the HPV vaccine in Zimbabwe. Adelaide’s personality was unmatched and her light warmed all those around her.
