El Salvador

JSI became active in El Salvador in 1991, working with the USAID-funded Resources for Child Health (REACH) Project to control pneumonia and other acute respiratory infections. JSI went on to strengthen and streamline the supply chain of essential HIV, AIDS and tuberculosis drugs and other commodities through the DELIVER Project, and has continued its efforts to improve health outcomes in El Salvador, offering expertise in strategic planning, behavior change communication, assessment, and training to several other public health initiatives there.
