JSI will host a lunch and learn session on April 7, 2021 at the Mad*Pow Health Experience Design Conference. The session, Reaching All Communities with a COVID Vaccine: How 25 years of U.S. and international experience can inform more equitable vaccine distribution, will examine challenges to equitable vaccine distribution and reaching people in communities with limited health care services.

We will discuss our extensive experience in vaccinating people who live at “the last mile” in developing countries, and highlight how our approaches, including engaging community health workers, can be adapted for equitable vaccine delivery here in the U.S.

Panelists:
Elizabeth Talbot, New Hampshire Deputy State Epidemiologist.
Durrell J. Fox, Community Health Worker, Health Equity Consultant, JSI.
Wendy Prosser, Senior Technical Advisor, JSI.

Moderators:
Amy Cullum, Senior Consultant, JSI
Margaret Franckhauser, Director of Aging Services, JSI

Participants will be encouraged to ask questions and discuss their challenges and learning.
