JSI Selected as Vendor for MassHealth Program

JSI is pleased to announce their selection as an approved vendor for the new MassHealth DSRIP Technical Assistance (TA) Program and TA Marketplace.

With this selection, JSI is among a group of vendors that have been identified to provide technical assistance to MassHealth accountable care organizations (ACOs) and community partners (CPs) that have been contracted by MassHealth to provide high-quality, coordinated, and well-integrated services to MassHealth members.

“We look forward to providing MassHealth ACOs and CPs with technical assistance that promotes collaboration across the system, is sustainable, and builds capacity in ways that ensure results. Perhaps most importantly, our aim is to support efforts to deliver services that are integrated, promote care coordination, and ultimately improve the health and well-being of some of the state’s most vulnerable residents,” says Alec McKinney, JSI director of health system planning and development.

The MassHealth DSRIP TA Marketplace is a product of MassHealth, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program, and contractor Abt Associates. The TA Marketplace enables MassHealth ACOs and CPs to navigate and access the resources and supports available to them through the program.

The MassHealth DSRIP TA Program is designed to provide expertise and support resources to the MassHealth ACOs and CPs as part of their mission to improve health outcomes and member experience throughout Massachusetts. As a vendor in the program, JSI will provide results-based technical assistance to MassHealth ACOs and CPs.

JSI was selected by MassHealth as part of a competitive bid process to support the ACOs and CPs in six of MassHealth’s nine service domains:

• Care Coordination and Integration
• Community-Based Care
• Consumer Engagement
• Health Information Technology
• Performance Improvement
• Population Health Management

JSI’s selection to provide services across so many of MassHealth’s service domains reflects our broad understanding of the principles that underlie national health service delivery and payment reform, as well as our experience supporting service providers to involve clients, coordinate care, integrate services, and meet the complex needs of Medicaid-insured residents.
