JSI at the CORE Group Global Health Practitioner Conference

JSI will join fellow leaders in community health and the CORE Group’s Global Health Practitioner Conference in Bethesda, Maryland, from May 6-8, 2019. This year’s conference is focused on partnerships and innovations for community health.

One of JSI’s leading digital experts, Steve Ollis, will be showcasing the new Digital Health Investment Review Tool (DHIRT) developed through the Maternal and Child Survival Program (MCSP). Catch Steve and our colleagues with the Digital Impact Alliance during the new information circuits in the ballroom of the Hyatt Regency from 2-3pm on Tuesday, May 7.

On Wednesday, May 8, Tewodros Alemayehu will be showcasing his poster on JSI’s lessons learned while scaling-up quality improvement efforts in Ethiopia. Jeffer Sanderson will also be presenting JSI’s expertise in building health services in response to the Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone. Poster presentations will be held in Hyatt Regency’s Terrace from 5:30-7pm.

Sascha Lamstein will be presenting JSI and our work under the USAID-funded Advancing Nutrition program during the concurrent session titled, “Breaking Barriers to Improve Health and Nutrition: What It Will Take to Strengthen Health Services to Better Address Nutritional Status.” She will join our colleagues from MCSP, PATH, and USAID for this discussion.

End the conference on a high note with Steve Ollis and Kristen Devlin! They will be discussing the importance of incorporating digital design to support frontline health workers implement better family planning practices. You can find them in the Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency from 9:30-10am on Thursday, May 9.
