As director of JSI’s Center for Health Equity, Tajan Brathwaite works alongside a team of leaders to strengthen JSI’s support of health equity while building competency to apply a health equity lens to the pursuit of new business opportunities and project implementation. Tajan has held several technical and management positions for promoting racial and health equity. She manages the internal evaluation for the Family Planning National Training Center as well as a community-based program evaluation of HIV/substance use prevention program with the Action for Boston Community Development, Inc. Tajan has a BA in biology from Wesleyan University and an MPH from Yale School of Epidemiology and Public Health.
