Tariq Azim is an M&E and routine health information system (RHIS) expert with vast experience in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Ethiopia. Azim’s strengths lie in his leadership skills combined with technical expertise on health systems, maternal and child health, family planning, and tuberculosis. He has worked as a chief of party, chief technical advisor, and deputy team leader in various projects funded by USAID, JICA, Asian Development Bank, UNICEF, and WHO. He has authored training curricula on RHIS and information use, and guidance document on community health data use for shared accountability. Azim is also a part-time lecturer at George Washington University, teaching program evaluation and global health frameworks to MPH students.
