Natalia Whitley

Natalia Whitley (Vartapetova) has more than 30 years international experience in health system strengthening, quality of care, reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health, and infection prevention and control. Since joining JSI in 1999, she has worked with the public and private health care sectors and was the chief of party for JSI's projects in Russia. Natalia supports projects in Tanzania and the Kyrgyz Republic. She received her MD from the Moscow Medical University, and her PhDs in epidemiology and health care systems from the Russian Academy of Medical Science. Natalia studied epidemiology and public health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Rotterdam Erasmus University, Dalhousie University, and the University of Minnesota.
