Mwansa Charity Njelesani-Kaira leads the PrEP portfolio at JSI and JSH. In her 15-year career, she has worked for organizations including UNAIDS, UNDP, and UNFPA. She also managed a nine-country program for UNESCO’s Eastern and Southern Africa regional HIV team. Mwansa was recognized as one of 25 emerging or mature leaders in HIV and AIDS prevention by UNAIDS and UNDP. She is a DrPH candidate at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
