Muka Chikuba-McLeod has over 25 years of experience in medicine, epidemiology, international health, and development. She has managed several public health projects, including four USAID-funded projects. Her areas of expertise include internal medicine; infectious diseases; disease surveillance; and research. She has worked internationally and domestically and understands the complex health requirements for effective interventions and action at both of these levels. Muka is the project director for the USAID DISCOVER-Health Project, which supports health service delivery and social marketing programs in Zambia. She is also the JSI Zambia country representative. Muka has an MD from the University of Zambia, an MSc from Harvard University, and an MPH from Boston University. Listen to an interview with Muka on the Voies of Public Health Podcast.
