Malia Duffy, a family nurse practitioner, has been at JSI since 2010, working on USAID’s flagship global HIV projects including AIDSTAR-One and AIDSFree. Her specialties include program design and management, and technical expertise of HIV/infectious disease programs with broad global HIV experience including at the intersection of mental health and substance use, adolescent health, service integration, and person-centered care. Malia has worked in the United States, Eastern Europe, Southeast and Central Asia, sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. She has a BA in Spanish and a BS in community health from Western Washington University; a BSN from Johns Hopkins University; an MSN from Simmons College; and an MSc from Harvard School of Public Health.
