Ethiopia Digital Health Activity
Loko Abraham is chief of party of the USAID Digital Health Activity in Ethiopia. He joined JSI from the Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Supply Agency, where, as director general, he fixed infrastructure problems in warehousing and distribution, digitized all operations, and championed a culture of data use. Loko also led system-level improvements in both the supply and demand of the health commodities value chain. Loko has vast experience in grant administration and spent more than 10 years at Mekele University. During his time there, Loko helped set up the electronic medical recording system at a hospital, a digital library and classrooms, and virtual learning. Loko received his MD from the University of Gandor.
