Lea Ayers LaFave has developed learning collaboratives on a range of topics including clinical supervision practices for substance misuse treatment providers, hypertension and diabetes management in rural health clinics, asthma management in community health centers and school-based clinics, and home visiting programs. Lea led the NH Screen and Intervene: Youth SBIRT Initiative, supporting substance misuse screening and intervention implementation in primary care practices. She has a BA in psychology from Smith College, an MS in nursing from Yale University, and a PhD in nursing from the University of Massachusetts.
