Kumkum Amin has more than 25 years of experience building the institutional capacity of nongovernmental organizations, host country governments, and the private sector on projects funded by USAID, CDC, HRSA, and the Gates Foundation. Kumkum is internationally recognized for her skills in building the capacity of health organizations to develop sound business strategies and strong systems while strengthening internal capacity and funding bases. She has served as project director for the Resilient and Responsive Health Organizations and Technical Assistance to the New Partners Initiative, as well as a technical director on the maternal and child health and nutrition project in West Bank/Gaza, among other projects. Kumkum holds an MBA from Yale University.
