Liz Creel is the JSI lead for USAID STOP Spillover, a project that focuses on reducing the risks of the spread of zoonotic viruses from animals to humans in Africa and Asia; before she was the project director for USAID Advancing Partners & Communities. Over the past 25 years, Liz has worked in reproductive, maternal, and child health, infectious disease, and environmental health with a focus on brokering multi-sectoral partnerships and investments. She was a senior technical officer on family planning and population, health and environment issues for the Population Reference Bureau, and was a project manager for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Liz has MAs in international relations/economics from Johns Hopkins University and in international public health promotion from George Washington University.
