Liz Creel is the JSI lead for USAID STOP Spillover, a project that focuses on reducing the risks of the spread of zoonotic viruses from animals to humans in Africa and Asia, and the co-lead of JSI's Climate and Environment Initiative. Over the past 25 years, Liz has worked in reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health, infectious diseases, and environmental health, focusing on brokering multi-sectoral partnerships and investments. Before JSI, Liz worked for the Population Reference Bureau and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. She has an MA in international relations and economics from Johns Hopkins University and an MA in international public health promotion and environmental health from George Washington University.
