Disha Ali has more than 20 years of experience conducting research, monitoring, and evaluation for global health programs related to reproductive, maternal, and child health; HIV; TB; immunization; nutrition and food security; and public and private health systems. Disha's recent responsibilities include leading an evaluation of the USAID-funded Private Health Sector project in Ethiopia; assessing urban routine immunization system in Ethiopia for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; conducting a critical review of stunting and other nutrition indicators for USAID; and leading a multi-country monitoring, learning, and evaluation portfolio for the USAID-funded Maternal and Child Survival Program's immunization team. Disha has worked in a number of countries in Africa and Asia and has a PhD in international health and an MD.
